New Paint

got home yesterday and realised my room has been painted with a fresh coat of white. looks so much brighter (and cleaner) now, cun wait to get audrey up in tt cool shade of scarlet. yeah! feeling so hyped up all of a sudden. heheez.

will be going down to queensway after work later to blow up the image and then see wat could be done. only having a vague idea of how to put it up. hmmm, too bad i dun have an ohp, would be so much easier tt way. and i will oso need to buy a new mirror since the old one got tore down yest. might oso need a shoe organiser, curtain accessories and new fan (i wan a classic fan!!) so much changes planned for my room.

but tt dispirited feeling still lingers somehow.

please be gone.

Wei Wei's Married!

Attended Wei Wei's ROM held at One Rochester on saturday. the girl's getting married after 8 years of courtship! seeing the newly wed brimming with joy makes me all emo and it makes me wonder how much effort is needed for a relationship to be managed this well. seriously, i dun think i have a heart strong enough for this emotional rollercoaster ride. 8 years man, no joke ok.

So me and the rest of the gang met at 9am to help her out with the reception and also for last min practice. yesh, besides giving her a big ang pow and wedding gift for her big day, the group of us prepared a song for her too! The Pink Ladies (as we are now called) sang Grow Old With Me after their exchange of vows, which was pretty tear-inducing for the bride. haahaa. though we lacked practice, the song went well.

After the solemnisation, we had makan and some drinks. free-flow of wine and champagne! and i cun believe tt Daphne was such an alco, she had a glass in hand in almost every pic! that girl can be shocking sometimes. hahaa. so after some photo taking and chatting, the bride wants to toss the bridal bouquet. so she gathered all the singles behind her and it was fun actually. everyone was positioning themselves and like gg "dun be me, dun be me." hahahaa. i was standing at the side with jo-an and feeling pretty safe.

until the bouquet landed on my feet.

"ME?? yeah rite..... -_-ll"

We stayed a while longer, taking pics and chatting till abt 1 before i left with Diana for my class.

met up with the girls for dinner at Bryan's cafe after class. Winnie went to meet up with her *ahem* new boyfriend. here's the lovey dovey couple. =p

so we had dinner and the food there is not half bad. went to take a peek at the pub upstairs, which looks better now with the bar and oso much much better music. hahaaa. after which, winnie bade goodbye to her sayang and we left the place for dessert!

I Got Myself Stenciled!

in my previous post, i was saying i'll try to do a panograph just for the fun of it.

ya, fun my foot. more like vessel-bursting. taking the pics itself is already such a task, and i dun think i need to elaborate on how onerous it is to piece it all together. grrrrr. bloody difficult can die.

so not wanting to throw a fit at my anonymous fren, i did THIS instead.

yeah, stenciling! and if you've noticed, this is the WRONG way of doing it. i've cut out the white instead of the black. hahaaa. and the yellow strips look so salah now. but not horrid for a first timer i hope. and becos of the lighting of the pic, half my face is black. =(

now im deciding on whether i shd do one on tt blank wall next to my bed. a huge ass one on that entire wall! yeah baby! the tot of it makes me all excited!! and even before i have her highness' permission to do sth this drastic to her apartment, i've already chosen the pic i want.

super gorgeous isnt she?? and the way she glances down, its incredible how she'll be like watching over me when i slp. coolness!! now all i've got to do is get some paint and brushes, and be prepared for the aftermath once i get audrey in my room.
