i am officially sick...... sick of this blogskin. why did i choose it in the first place?? i must be soooo blind...... yaya... dun like then go blogskin.com and get a new skin lah, tok so much for wat? simply bcos i am going to attempt the unthinkable.....behold!for i am gonna create my own skin... yupsy-doodle... my own skin, a one-of-a-kind skin! no more embarrassing clones, i say!this is gonna be soooo great!im psyched up already!im hoping to get it done before 2006!! kekeke....

Wet Hair
Lum Sup Gor Tao v. 1 to wet the head 2 to be in such deep shit that there is nothing you can do to change ur current state ; ngor yi ka hou chi lum sup zou gor tao, mou tirt wui tao lah!
im so gonna add this to my vocabulary. dun u think its so... so abstract? i noe its supposed to be an idiom and all but how in the world can wetting ur head be associated with being in an irreversible state?? i just cun fathom. oh btw, this is cantonese hor, in case someignoramus pple are trying to figure out the above.
on a somewat related note, i love my accounting lecturer, who's really Karen Mok's brother... but i cun seem to draw any similarities between the two, except that they probably share the same ancestors and for the fact that they are both soooo skinny... kekeke.... i remember the painful lectures i had when i was in np (and still am), hating economics and accounting in particular... i hate it so much i mentally erase off all the knowledge i have gained during the 3 years of study and swore never to touch it again, "NEVER!" i told myself.. but swearing doesnt help a wee bit cos here i am, faithfully attending classes every week without fail and conscientiously taking down notes while im at it... and for BOTH accounting AND economics... how adequate... but this time its totally different.. the lectures are actually interesting! its quite wondrous how Karen's brother could make such a boring subject come alive.. so i pretty much enjoy it.. and also considering the fact that i have willingly opted to do a mgt degree and paying the fees from my own pocket.. it HAS to be interesting....

He was explaining how speculators of the share market sometimes find themselves trapped in a sticky situation, describing it using the idiom. Even though im a cantonese, i was quite puzzled after hearing it for the first time. So on the way home, i asked SuuPurrMom for the definition of this chim-chim idiom.. she explained that in the past when a man decides to retire from the ordinary temporal concerns of the world and devote himself to religion, there is absolutely no turning back once the hair is wet (during the formalities of shaving the hair and stuff like tt)

What do you get when u mix a lil' carelessness with a whole lota excitment and haste at a lingerie fair?
no takers? i tot so too! yaya, not much of a trivia i noe.... so stop rolling ur eyes already! but just in case u're still interested in the ans (u noe u do!), its quite absurd actually, cos it had resulted in a case of misconstrued theft...... well, almost lah...
picture this : u're out shopping at the local hypermart, and say u walk out of the place in a haste to get home... but in tt instant u walk out, the security alarm went beeping and surprisingly, not a single staff approach to check on u. so, would u still stop and check ur merchandise, fully aware that all the goods have been paid for, being the model citizen that u are?
i hope most of u are normal (read: bloody careless) like me to have walked away thinking that the system has gone cranky... but in case u didnt, good for u.... cos when i took out my "loot" a day later, i realised that my lovely purple satin brassiere that i've oh-so-wanted has this chunky and hideous plastic tag attached to it! so ladies and gentlemen, the beeping was not a result of the presumably cranky system, but the hideous tag that was clinging onto my lovely brassiere like a parasite.... gawd, how to wear like that?!
u're probably thinking its impossible tt the security tag hasnt been removed, cos if u've paid for the goods at the cashier, then the staff will have to have it removed rite? ya, i reckon u're rite there. but wat if u've paid for the 3 sets of lingerie at the fair which is held at the atrium? and wat if u decided to shop ard at the actual store and u so happen to see this lovely purple satin brassiere that u've oh-so-wanted but was unavailable at the atrium? and wat if u decided to try ur luck and ask the friendly-looking staff for an exchange cos u desperately WANT tt particular set? and wat if the now-confirmed-friendly staff allowed the exchange? and lastly, wat if u left the store hastily without checking the exchanged brassiere and buying anything else? (all this continues in the scenario at para 3)
Here comes the real trivia guys.
Given the above situation, what would you do?

sorry abt the previous post.... it was really meant to be an innocent joke and oso to let u noe the dire consequences of allowing ur hair to go rampant.... tot u could take it.... but it seems u were quite upset abt it..... ): i even sought a third opinion abt the pic... and got a dressing down too.... (urrghhh! where's your sense of humour, people???) sighz... i guess it was a bit overboard then..... sorry.... but if its any consolation to you, tt person actually tot u looked good, and matured.... kekekekeke..... happy already?? so dun be angry with me liao ok? *tug mudpie's sleeves* if ure still upset, how abt some punishments for me when i come in nov?? and no naughty tots!!

u noe tt last bit on holding hands... i find it quite ironic now... i mean i used to be annoyed with the notion of holding hands when we are out shopping cos for some strange reasons, i feel its quite restrictive and so..... so tied down..... hence i nv did enjoy holding hands although its like such a couple-thing to do..... but rite now, this very moment, i just feel its a total luxury to hold ur hands or even being physically close to you... cos all i ever had from u these past few months are merely your voice and words.... sighzz... i guess i finally haf a taste of having taken things for granted.... and its one long and painful lesson...................

wat a lovely morning!
dear mudpie,
so mum came home early this morning and as always, i rummaged thru her luggage to see wat she has bought... i love rummaging thru pple's luggages when they return from overseas... well, to see wat they got and wat nice things they have bought... hmm... i think i shd consider becoming a custom officer instead! kekekeke.... so she bought me a nice racer back top, a pretty brown cardi which i love so much, and also a lovely yellow necklace too! she also got for me a bottle of rosken body moisturiser and a red adidas bag which i've yet to see cos its at sis' place... but they didnt get the beachwear that i wanted... =( adelaide got sell cheap and nice beachwear or not? and i had expected to see lots of photos, but bro transferred most of it into his laptop and left a meagre of it in the memory card... so disappointing.... double whammy man! bwwaaahh!
and you'll be surprised that i woke up at 730 today, a.m no doubt... heck, i even surprised myself... i mean i was up till abt 2a.m surfing the web and reading my novel... and miraculously, i was up and going after sis woke me up once to go for breakfast... i can still remember how difficult it was for u, or anyone for tt matter, to wake me up... even if it was with the mid day sun burning on my butt, the karaoke blasting, the vaccum cleaner going on and on, i'll still be found lying flat (or dead) on my bed, oblivious and refusing to budge... so aren't you glad you dun haf to go thru all tat anymore? no? oh well... perhaps for the next 2.5 years then...
so! the day had started out miraculously and beautifully, and it will end in the same manner! i will put my heart to reading my lecture notes and barricade myself to keep out all forms of distractions... except come 1230pm, i need to eat my lunch, and also 230pm for the chow yun fatt special on ch8, oh oh, i almost forgot, 430pm too, cos i need to watch zhen qing..... and also 730pm for tt Ben Stiller's movie and also.................

dear mudpie,
how was ur sat? mine has been a long and boring one..... i am dying and rotting from boredom already..... sighzzz.... i think im just too lazy to do anything else besides lying and staring at the ceiling for the whole day.. ok, im kidding there.... actually i have done some housework and watched some tv.. but i have yet to eat my dinner... just too lazy lah... and i have given up on cooking! just look at the pics and u will have some idea of how it tastes... palatable, but there's still loads of room for improvement.. sighzz... i think im just not cut out for cooking... its a wonder i didnt burn down the kitchen... kekeke....
sat's dinner - soup and prawns
verdict - too much veg in the soup and the prawns were too tomato-ish
sun's dinner - bolognaise sphagetti.. ignore the badly cut and decorated carrots pls..
verdict - too much sauce and too little meat!
fri's dinner - chicken wings and hotdogs with potato..
verdict - chicken wings were by far the best though not salty enough for my taste buds.... and the hotdog dish was too dry!
arrghhh!! im so bored its killing me!! i could go cook sth to eat, i could read up on my econs and sociology, i could clean up my table, i could practise my bhangra, i could read my anne rice novel.. but i chose to sink into this... ahhh.. forget it... i shall speak of sth else...

the other day i was saying tt i'll update you rite? but just in case u forgot:
"been kinda lazy these few days.... i've got loads to tell u, like the gay blogs, this wonderful snack tt i discovered, treating mum and sis to sushi on sat, my first taste of fondue at haagen daz, this humongous packet of chips i saw, shopping for ur stuff, etc, etc..... loads of stuff... but just too lazy to write an entry on it.... maybe this weekend gua...."
so here it is.... since there's quite alot, i'm writing it in point form...
1) Gay Blogs
ya, gay blogs as in homo GAY, not joyful gay... kekeke... yalah, me kaypo lah, read other pple's blogs rite?? hmmph! but the way they write is really really funny, often sprinkling their sentences with a generous amt of honeys and dahlings! can u imagine tt coming out from a man? kekekekeke.... couldnt quite remember how i chance upon this but i was glad i did! sth fresh from wat i have been reading so far.... and its really interesting how they could live double lives, behaving differently infront of their family, colleagues and their gay community....
2) New Snack
This new snack i discovered at the np co-op is really, really nice! $1.20 per packet. i almost went crazy after tasting it! you must buy one and try if you find it in the supermart! remember, the brand's Synder's of Hanover, comes in diff flavours, like honey caramel, honey mustard and onion, cheddar cheese, etc... but u must try the mustard and onion one... u'd like it as much as i did! promise!
3) Sushi Treat
so we went to bishan for sushi on sat.. with ah bee having a whole teriyaki chicken bento set to herself! But i think she liked the watermelon the most.... cos she finished it all and hardly ate the chicken....in the end i had to eat it for her...

4) Fondue
remember the other time we were at haagen dazs but didnt try the fondue? i finally did this time! kekeke.... they have these ice cream balls and fruits where u dip into the hot chocolate... ahhhh.... nice!
5) Chips!
i was so excited when i saw this! ya, this humongous packet of jack and jill potato chips! i think it can last me a month!
wahahaha! very cool rite?! imagine if they have real chips in it! it'll be heaven for me!
6) Shopping
ok, i think i've bought all the stuff that u wanted... u check if i've missed anything...
now my concern is how in the world am i gg to pack it in my luggage and bring it over to u... very heavy leh! *pouts*
7) etc, etc
yesterday i met up with connie and the rest for dinner at cineleisure... been so long since i last met up with them... some have switched jobs and some planning to start a biz.... things are moving so fast for them.... haizz.. wonder if 5 years down the road, would we still be taking time off to meet up.....
anyway, i wore my new skirt yesterday... nice or not? all my colleagues said it was nice, even the dir said she liked my skirt... kekekek.. hope she didnt find it too casual for work... =p
gah... wat a long post... or shd i say alot of photos.... ok, i gtg prepare my dinner le.... yup! im cooking my own dinner! im trying my hands on sweet and chilli prawns with tomato... let you noe how it goes next time ok? *muackz* and ya, today ch5 is showing Powerpuff Girls : The Movie at 7pm! so i'll better start cooking now! tata!!

the other day i was saying tt i'll update you rite? but just in case u forgot:
"been kinda lazy these few days.... i've got loads to tell u, like the gay blogs, this wonderful snack tt i discovered, treating mum and sis to sushi on sat, my first taste of fondue at haagen daz, this humongous packet of chips i saw, shopping for ur stuff, etc, etc..... loads of stuff... but just too lazy to write an entry on it.... maybe this weekend gua...."
so here it is.... since there's quite alot, i'm writing it in point form...
1) Gay Blogs
ya, gay blogs as in homo GAY, not joyful gay... kekeke... yalah, me kaypo lah, read other pple's blogs rite?? hmmph! but the way they write is really really funny, often sprinkling their sentences with a generous amt of honeys and dahlings! can u imagine tt coming out from a man? kekekekeke.... couldnt quite remember how i chance upon this but i was glad i did! sth fresh from wat i have been reading so far.... and its really interesting how they could live double lives, behaving differently infront of their family, colleagues and their gay community....
2) New Snack
This new snack i discovered at the np co-op is really, really nice! $1.20 per packet. i almost went crazy after tasting it! you must buy one and try if you find it in the supermart! remember, the brand's Synder's of Hanover, comes in diff flavours, like honey caramel, honey mustard and onion, cheddar cheese, etc... but u must try the mustard and onion one... u'd like it as much as i did! promise!
3) Sushi Treat
so we went to bishan for sushi on sat.. with ah bee having a whole teriyaki chicken bento set to herself! But i think she liked the watermelon the most.... cos she finished it all and hardly ate the chicken....in the end i had to eat it for her...
